I am working to mobilize the Japanese economy.  We operate a wide variety of vehicles from 4 tons to trailers, from general goods to frozen foods, precision machinery to construction materials. I am sure you will find a suitable job.

Is there any subsidy from the company when acquiring qualifications and licenses?
A

There is an interest-free loan system that covers the cost of obtaining a medium-sized license, large-sized license, and towing license. You can pay it back in installments after you get your license.  Please aspire to step up! In addition, we are able to support you in obtaining operation manager and/or forklift operator qualifications, while there are certain restrictions, so please come to consult with us.

When an accident or trouble occurs, is the company’s support reliable?
A

All trucks are equipped with GPS, so in the event of an emergency, the office can immediately identify the location and come to rescue. We have many bases from Kanto to Kyushu, so we will rush from the nearest sales office. The night operation center operates 24 hours a day, so you can get in touch with us anytime, even in the middle of the night.

Am I liable financially in the event of an accident?
A

Basically, the crew members are not liable for accidents financially, unless it is judged the particular incident is intentional and/or with malice.)

Am I eligible for paid vacation?
A

Yes, both crew members and clerical staff are eligible. There is also a system to pay in a lump sum for the number of unused paid vacation days after they expire in two years, so it won’t be your loss if you cannot use up your vacation days before expiration.

What are the welfare benefits?
A

In addition to assistance with qualification and license acquisition costs, that we will pay you 100,000 yen if your friend joins the company through your referral.  Also, we have a system to loan 200,000 yen to help fund expenses when you start your new job.  There is a grace period of one year for this loan, so you can start repayment in installments after one year has passed.

In addition, there is a mutual aid system consisting of employees, with a monthly membership fee of 2,000 yen, that would cover cash gifts of congratulatory, condolence, such as for childbirths, advancements to higher education, lump-sum assistance in case of disability leaves, as well as assistance for flu shots and buy-back of unused paid leaves.  There can be adjustment and refund of membership fees at the time of resignation/retirement.

There is none.

Is it possible to take a second job on the side?
A

Side jobs are prohibited from the viewpoint of operational safety.
Take a good rest and refresh yourself on your days off.

What level of computer knowledge do you need?
A

In the case of clerical and office work, it is necessary to be able to operate basic Excel and Word, but advanced computer skills are not required.  To be a crew member, you don’t need computer skills as long as you can operate the digital tachograph, and communicate by mobile text messages.

For long distance operations, do you assign only one driver, or two?
A

Basically, you will be working alone. During the training period of new crew members, we sometimes ride together side by side.

Are there any bonus payments?
A

Bonuses are paid according to performance. In addition to the above bonuses, there is also a system in which crew members are paid a maximum of 75,000 yen in rewards every four months according to their performance evaluation. *Depending on performance, there may be cases where no bonus is made.

Do you have a retirement benefit system?
A

Although there are no company regulations, a withdrawal allowance will be paid at the time of retirement according to the period of participation in the defined contribution pension plan / employee mutual aid association.

I have no experience driving trucks, but is it okay?
A

Are there any documents to prepare before joining the company?
A

When the hiring is decided, the company will give you a set of documents necessary for joining the company. Other documents that you need to prepare by yourself are your own resident card, health certificate, seal certificate of your guarantor, driving record certificate for the past 5 years, and copies of voluntary insurance/vehicle inspection certificate/compulsory auto liability insurance only in case you commute by car.

Where can I get obtain?
A

You can apply at the Automobile Safety Driving Center of each prefecture or the nearest police station. You can find the “Driving History Certificate” application form at the above location(s), so please apply at the post office window or the safe driving center office. (Driving record certificates are available for 1 year, 3 years, and 5 years, but we ask that you request a 5-year certificate.)

Do you have a job transfer to other locations?
A

Not often, but there are transfers of personnel occasionally, however, we will be sure to take your personal and family situations into consideration.  On the other hand, we also accept requests for transfers from employees, so please let us know if you have any circumstances that require relations.

When is  payroll due and paid?
A

It closes on the last day of every month and the payday is the 25th of the following month. If the 25th is a non-business day of the financial institution, payment will be made on the day prior.

Are there female drivers?
A

There are also female crew members. Those female drivers are dependable large truck/trailer drivers.

What are the items covered in the health checkup?
A

In addition to the 11-item medical checkup stipulated in Article 43 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act they know  “health checkup at the time of employment” at a medical institution, we also require SAS (sleep apnea syndrome) and epilepsy tests conducted. If SAS or epilepsy tests cannot be performed at a your nearby medical institution, please contact us so we can refer you to the appropriate institution.

As long as you can drive safely, your age doesn’t matter.
