ダイワ運輸グループでは、社内のチャリティイベントなどでの収益を全額寄付させていただいており、本年度も神戸市の「神戸交通遺児をみまもる会」へ400,000円の寄付をさせて頂きました。本年度で16年目の取り組みとなり、先日、同会より感謝状を頂戴いたしました。

「神戸交通遺児をみまもる会（すばるの会）」は、寄付金を元に神戸市内の交通遺児家庭の福祉増進の事業を行っておられます。

ご担当者さまとの面談で、会の設立当初に比べると市内の交通遺児の数も減少しているもののまだまだゼロには至らないこと、自動運転の技術の進歩などによりさらに交通事故が減少して、会そのものが不要になるような未来を目指したいというお話をお聞きいたしました。

交通インフラを利用して事業活動を行う会社として、交通事故の減少への真摯な取り組みを続けると共に、交通遺児の減少を強く願っております。

We received an appreciation letter from the “Kobe Society for Orphans of Traffic Victims”

The Daiwa Express Group has donated all proceeds from in-house charity events, etc., and this year we donated 400,000 yen to the “Kobe Society for Orphans of Traffic Victims” in Kobe City. This year is the 16th year of this initiative, and the other day we received an appreciation letter from the association.

The “Kobe Society for Orphans of Traffic Victims (Subaru no Kai)” is engaged in a project to promote the welfare of families with traffic orphans in Kobe City based on donations.

In an interview with the person in charge, we heard that although the number of traffic orphans in the city has decreased compared to the beginning of the association’s establishment, it has not yet reached zero, and that he would like to aim for a future in which traffic accidents will further decrease due to advances in autonomous driving technology and the association itself will no longer be necessary.

As a company that conducts business activities using transportation infrastructure, we will continue to make sincere efforts to reduce traffic accidents and strongly hope that the number of children orphaned by traffic will decrease.
