菅原義正氏は、「The RALLY is my life」という信念を掲げ、84歳の今も現役ラリードライバーとして活躍されています。 「2026アフリカ・エコレース」は、過酷な環境下で約6,000kmのコースを走るラリーレースであり、菅原氏はOpenカテゴリーで完走13位という成績を収められました。

軽量小型車での完走自体が偉業であり、順位という数字を超え、挑戦に年齢は関係ないことを証明されたその姿は、私たちに大きな勇気を与えてくれました。

 

日野チームスガワラは、世界一過酷なラリーレースと称される「ダカール・ラリー2026」へ参戦されました。サウジアラビアで7回目の開催となった今大会は、15日間、総走行距離8,000kmに及ぶ激闘が繰り広げられました。悪路が多く、厳しい戦いが予想される中、悪路走行性・車両の信頼耐久性・エンジンのパワーアップなどの改良を加え完走し、トラック部門15位という成績を収めました。完走率が50％を下回ることも珍しくない過酷な環境下で、連続完走記録を35回に伸ばされました。

 

悪路やトラブルといった極限の環境下で、一歩先を見据え、確かな判断でハンドルを握り続ける両者の姿勢は、日本の物流インフラを支える私たちの現場精神と深く共鳴するものです。

Both continue to take on what are widely regarded as the world’s most grueling motorsport events, and we are honored to share their accomplishments.

 

Mr. Yoshimasa Sugawara, guided by his belief that “The Rally is my life,” remains an active rally driver at the age of 84. In the 2026 Africa Eco Race—an endurance rally covering approximately 6,000 km under extreme conditions—he secured an impressive 13th-place finish in the Open category. Successfully completing such a race in a lightweight, compact vehicle is a remarkable achievement in itself. Beyond the ranking, his performance demonstrates that age is no barrier to embracing challenges and continues to inspire us all.

 

Hino Team Sugawara competed in the Dakar Rally 2026, often described as the most demanding rally in the world. Held in Saudi Arabia for the seventh time, this year’s rally spanned 15 days and covered a total distance of 8,000 km. Despite the harsh terrain, the team implemented improvements in off-road capability, vehicle durability, and engine performance. As a result, they secured 15th place in the truck category, extending their consecutive finishing record to 35 races. In an environment where the completion rate often falls below 50%, this achievement underscores the team’s exceptional reliability.

 

In the face of extreme conditions, including rough terrain and unexpected mechanical challenges, both Mr. Sugawara and Hino Team Sugawara maintain steady and decisive control behind the wheel. Their resilience strongly resonates with our own commitment to supporting the front lines of Japan’s logistics infrastructure. On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, DX Holdings Group held its entrance ceremony at its headquarters, welcoming seven new employees.

 

The ceremony opened with remarks from the President and CEO, followed by the presentation of appointment letters by executive officers. A representative of the new employees then delivered a statement of commitment.
The ceremony was conducted in a solemn atmosphere, while also reflecting a sense of anticipation and resolve appropriate for this new beginning.
